"These boots have been on my feet daily for almost a year now. I am a fire sprinkler fitter in Vermont and through the job demand and my own work style, I am properly hard on my gear. These boots have taken everything and then asked for more! I went custom to accommodate my screwed up toes and to perform the way I want on the job. I am climbing up and down ladders, squeezing into weird spots, working on all manner of terrain and surfaces, even physically using them to hold up a length of 6” pipe in a chaseway off a ladder while my partner gripped it. They are absolutely another great tool in my arsenal to pipe sprinklers! I can’t recommend JK enough. I even experienced the phenomenal customer service when they originally showed up with a nail right through the footbed in the toe box. They handled it professionally and as quick as the mail system could go. I brush the construction crud off every other day and have oiled them 3 times so far, it doesn’t take much to take care of them to make them last. My feet are happy at the end of the day and I take great pride wearing a badass product made here in the U.S. by hardworking folks."

"I already own a pair of 8" O.T. redwoods and they broke in fairly quick and felt like they we're molded to my feet. I think the 6" pair is breaking in even quicker.
They are great looking boots and the difference in handmade boots and something off of a shelf are remarkable. 5. “It took me a while to decide, but...“
"I am the kind of person that does a lot of research before I buy things, especially expensive things. So I did my "due diligence" before deciding on the JK OT boots in brown, looking at offerings from all the PNW boot makers, reading and watching reviews on YouTube. There are definitely lots of good boot options available, but once I received my OT boots and put them on, I knew I had made the right choice -- I absolutely love them. They were fairly comfortable right away, but after about 6 weeks of near-daily wear, they fit like a glove and are just terrific. In terms of sizing, I measure a 9.5 D on a Brannock device, so I got a 9D and they are perfect with my Darn Tough merino wool boot socks (a great combination!). These are truly a superb product; extremely comfortable, flawless workmanship and the finest quality materials. I expect they will outlive me! Get some -- you will not be disappointed."

6. “A Very Very Good Boot“
"I have a big bunion on both feet. These OT Pro at 10 5E fits my feet just nice. Roomier heel and adequate forefoot fit. For comparison, I usually wear a 10.5US 4E Asics running road running shoes or 11US Asics trail running shoes. Fitted a 5mm thick insole to fill up the gap and laced it up with tongue guard. Happy with my purchase for the fit, built and look. Never thought that I could wear any good looking boots without a bunion correction surgery."

7. “Not in the trades but...“
"I don't work in the trades, I work in a office within a warehouse. With that said, I have a very hard time finding any shoes that fit my feet well. Every pair I get, hurt my feet in one way or another. I learned too late in life I probably need wide shoes after getting a pair of wide MOABs. It was noticeably better and the best I had ever had.... until I got my JKs... they are far and away, hands down, the best shoes/boots I have ever owned. Out of the box (after a return to dial I my size) they fit my feet like a glove. I wouldn't even call this break in period a break in period... my feet have never been more comfortable and I'm not even done with the breakin. JK earned themselves a life long customer."

8. “Comfort, Support, Easy Break-in“
"Out of the box comfort with very little break-in needed. The key is getting the correct size.
I wear a 12.5 B in Russell, 12.5 C in ****** and my sitting Brannock size is 12.5 B. But I ordered the 12.5 D because they were in stock. For whatever reason the 12.5 D works in J.K. Boots. I am using the J.K. provided Poron insoles which add some nice shock absorption. The heel is comfortably snug and I have room to splay my toes. If you like a tighter fit go with J.K’s instructions. My only con for this boot is the choice of smooth leather. It has what feels like a heavy finish on it but it will still absorb boot oil just fine. So no big deal.
Quality is as you would expect, high. Stitching is better than I expected, very even. For my “all a rounder” use this is a great boot. Stiff and supportive in the arch and flexible at the ball. The O.T. is a winner!"
