6. “The best boots I have owned“
"I had been looking at the JK boots for a long time, however I could not justify spending " that kind of money on boots". I found the O.T. black 8" safety toe, rough out on the lower, on sale and ready to ship in my size. I ordered them!!! When I received them I was impressed with the quality of the build and leather that they use. They are a little heavy, but that is not a problem. It is taking a little while to break them in, due to an ankle injury that I have been recovering from for the last four months. Once I am fully recovered, they will be worn every day. These are the best fitting boots I have ever worn. THEY ARE WELL WORTH THE MONEY!! If anyone is on the fence about buying any of the boots, just spend the money. Your foot health is worth taking care of with high quality foot wear. I spend 12hrs on concrete everyday, and without good boots, you will be regretting life within a few hours. I am going to order the Bison forefront with a wedge sole very soon! and I will probably order two pair just to have as backup and to wear around the housed out running around."

7. “These things are gorgeous!“
"These are my first JK Boots and I bought them for work. I own my own home improvement/repair business and have worked in many different brands of boots, but mainly Thorogood. Although my Thorogoods have their purpose, they just don't hold up as long as I thought they would - usually 6-8 mo. before a resole.
These things are tanks, and not to mention, beautiful! Not only is the bison leather super pliable and comfortable, but the RedX soles are bulletproof. I especially like the 90 degree heel on this for ladder work, which I am on a lot. I wear a size 9.5 EE in Thorogood and found that 8 3E is my go-to size in JK boots. They fit perfect and am excited to put them to the test! I'm extremely hard on my boots, so I'll keep you all updated!"

"I’ve been wearing my smooth prairie bison boots on the job for 5 days now. They’re breaking in very easily. I’m super impressed with the build quality and they’re really nice looking boots. Almost a shame to put them to work. I wouldn’t go as far as to say No Break-in Bison, but it’s definitely been way easier than any other leather boots I’ve broken in.
After the 5 days the uppers are almost 100% formed to my feet and the insoles are beginning to form as well. I’d say in another week they’ll feel like wearing a supportive slipper.
I would also like to say a huge thank you to JK’s customer service. They were absolutely awesome to work with from the pre order questions to receiving my boots.
